New Front Portch

There have been a couple of things happen lately that I need to post here. This is the first one, a new front porch.

This was all Kevin's idea, and funding was all Kevin. He designed the new porch on his computer and did all the measuring and ordering of the materials.

Following is a picture out our front door with the old porch gone.

Here are a couple of pictures from the outside with the old porch missing.

The new porch is being framed in here. Kevin got a lot of help from a friend of ours.

Here is a picture of the work area that was set up on the driveway.

The steps are getting installed here.



Now comes the stringers.







Yup, they even did some work at night. Here, they are mounting the steps. The actual deck has already been put down.

Here, the railing has a pretty good start.

Sorry to say, but I don't have any pictures of it being completed, but it is finished and it looks real nice. They did a wonderful job on it.
