Snow in April

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, take a look at this picture and make up your own words for it.

This picture was taken from our back patio door about 6:45am this morning (Sat., April 19, 2008) There is about 3 to 4 inches of snow on the railing. The temperature is just under freezing. It is supposed to warm up a little bit today, but there is more snow in the forecast. All together now...........let's sing "Winter Wonderland".

Now, compare this picture with the ones a little lower down, that were taken last Saturday, when the temperatures around here were in the high 70's, and I went fishing with my friend Mike. What is the biggest difference between these pictures? I will give you three guesses, and the first two don't count.
